Ingredients
  

Base
  • 4 tostada shells
  • 2 cups cooked shredded Chicken
  • 1 cup refried beans
Chicken Seasoning
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • ½ tsp cumin
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
Toppings
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 tomato diced
  • ½ avocado sliced or mashed
  • ½ cup shredded cheese cheddar or Mexican blend
  • ¼ cup sour cream or Mexican crema
  • Fresh cilantro
  • Lime wedges
Optional:
  • jalapeños salsa, hot sauce

Method
 

1️⃣ Season the Chicken
  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add shredded Chicken and seasonings. Cook for 4–5 minutes until warm and flavorful.
2️⃣ Warm the Beans
  1. Heat refried beans in a small saucepan or microwave until smooth and spreadable.
3️⃣ Assemble the Tostadas
  1. Spread warm beans over each tostada shell.
  2. Top with seasoned chicken.
4️⃣ Add Fresh Toppings
  1. Layer lettuce, tomatoes, avocado, cheese, sour cream, and cilantro.
5️⃣ Finish & Serve
  1. Serve immediately with lime wedges and optional salsa or hot sauce.
