- Heat olive oil in a large pot or Dutch oven over medium heat.
- Add onion, bell pepper, and garlic. Sauté for 3–4 minutes until softened.
- Add ground turkey and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon.
- Stir in diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, chili powder, cumin, smoked paprika, cayenne, salt, and black pepper.
- Bring to a simmer, reduce heat to low, and cook for 15–20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Taste and adjust seasoning. Serve hot with optional toppings.

For deeper flavor, simmer chili for up to 40 minutes.
