Ingredients
  

  • 1 sheet puff pastry thawed
  • 6 –8 slices pepperoni
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ¼ cup pizza sauce for serving
  • 1 egg beaten (for egg wash)
  • Optional: fresh basil or oregano for garnish

  • Baking sheet
  • Parchment paper
  • Rolling pin
  • Pastry brush
  • Knife or pizza cutter

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and cut into 6 strips (about 2 inches wide).
  3. Place cheese and pepperoni along the top half of each strip.
  4. Fold the bottom half over the filling, then carefully roll into a rose shape.
  5. Place on a lined baking sheet, brush with beaten egg.
  6. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
  7. Bake 25–30 minutes, until golden brown and puffed.
  8. Serve warm with pizza sauce and garnish with fresh herbs if desired.

Notes

Use your favorite pizza toppings (ham, mushrooms, bell peppers, olives).
Make ahead and bake just before serving.

Puff pastry can be frozen, so you can prep ahead for easy assembly.
