🍕 Crockpot Pizza Casserole – Cheesy, Savory, and Totally Hands-Off

Who says pizza night has to be complicated? This Crockpot Pizza Casserole takes all the flavors of pizza — gooey cheese, savory sauce, and pepperoni — and turns them into a hands-off, slow-cooked meal the whole family will love. Perfect for weeknights, potlucks, or busy evenings.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef or Italian sausage
  • 1 jar 24 oz pizza sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups cooked pasta penne, rotini, or elbow
  • 1 small onion diced
  • 1 bell pepper diced
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ cup sliced pepperoni or cooked sausage optional
  • 1 tsp dried oregano or Italian seasoning

Method
 

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef or sausage until no longer pink. Drain excess fat.
  2. In a large bowl, combine cooked meat, cooked pasta, pizza sauce, onion, bell pepper, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and half of the cheese. Mix well.
  3. Spray the slow cooker with nonstick cooking spray. Pour the mixture into the crockpot.
  4. Sprinkle remaining cheese and pepperoni (if using) on top.
  5. Cover and cook on Low for 3–4 hours until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Garnish with oregano or Italian seasoning and serve hot.

Notes

Swap in cooked chicken or ground turkey for a lighter variation.
Add mushrooms, olives, or zucchini for extra veggies.
Leftovers store in the fridge for 3–4 days and reheat well in the microwave.
