- In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef or sausage until no longer pink. Drain excess fat.
- In a large bowl, combine cooked meat, cooked pasta, pizza sauce, onion, bell pepper, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and half of the cheese. Mix well.
- Spray the slow cooker with nonstick cooking spray. Pour the mixture into the crockpot.
- Sprinkle remaining cheese and pepperoni (if using) on top.
- Cover and cook on Low for 3–4 hours until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Garnish with oregano or Italian seasoning and serve hot.
Notes
Swap in cooked chicken or ground turkey for a lighter variation.
Add mushrooms, olives, or zucchini for extra veggies.
Leftovers store in the fridge for 3–4 days and reheat well in the microwave.
