Method
- Cook pasta 2–3 minutes less than package directions (it will finish in the slow cooker). Drain and set aside.
- Spray inside of crock pot with cooking spray.
- In a large bowl, mix cooked sausage, pasta, sauce, water, onion, bell pepper, and seasonings.
- Pour half of the mixture into the crock pot. Top with half the cheese and half the pepperoni.
- Repeat with remaining pasta mixture, cheese, and pepperoni.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 2½ to 3 hours, until heated through and cheese is bubbly.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
You can substitute turkey sausage or make it vegetarian with mushrooms.
Add sliced black olives, green peppers, or jalapeños for a supreme version.
Don’t overcook — the pasta can become mushy if left too long.
