Ingredients
  

  • For the shrimp:
  • 1 lb large shrimp peeled and deveined (tails on)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp Cajun seasoning
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 wooden skewers soaked in water (optional)
  • For the seasoned garlic butter:
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter melted
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • ½ tsp lemon juice
  • ÂĽ tsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley optional

Method
 

  1. In a bowl, toss shrimp with olive oil, Cajun seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  2. Thread shrimp onto soaked skewers or keep loose for grilling.
  3. Preheat grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  4. Grill shrimp 2–3 minutes per side or until pink and opaque.
  5. While shrimp cook, combine butter, garlic, lemon juice, and paprika in a small bowl.
  6. Brush grilled shrimp generously with seasoned butter.
  7. Garnish with parsley and serve with lemon wedges.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate shrimp for 15–30 minutes before grilling.
Serve with seasoned rice, garlic mashed potatoes, or grilled vegetables.
Can be cooked indoors on a grill pan or in the oven broiler.
