Method
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Lightly grease a muffin tin.
- Sprinkle bacon slices lightly with brown sugar and black pepper, if using.
- Roll each bacon slice tightly into a spiral to form a rose shape.
- Place rolled bacon upright into muffin cups.
- Bake 25–30 minutes, until bacon is crispy and browned.
- Drain briefly on paper towels and garnish before serving.
Notes
Thick-cut bacon can be used but may need extra baking time.
For extra crispiness, finish under the broiler for 1–2 minutes.
Serve with eggs, pancakes, or as part of a Valentine’s brunch board.
Best enjoyed fresh and warm.
