  • 1 bunch Dandelion greens
  • 1 –2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • Salt and black pepper
  • Lemon wedges
Optional:
  • red pepper flakes onion, bacon, parmesan, vinegar

Method
 

👩‍🍳 Step 1: Prepare the Greens
  1. Wash Thoroughly
  2. Dandelion greens often hold dirt. Wash several times in cold water.
  3. Trim
  4. Remove thick stems if tough. Chop leaves into manageable pieces.
  5. Reduce Bitterness (Optional)
  6. Blanch in boiling water for 2 minutes, then drain.

    1️⃣ Sautéed Dandelion Greens (Most Popular)
      Instructions:
      1. Heat olive oil in skillet over medium heat.
      2. Add garlic and cook 30 seconds.
      3. Add greens and toss until wilted.
      4. Cook 5–7 minutes until tender.
      5. Season with salt, pepper, and lemon juice.

        2️⃣ Boiled / Simmered
        1. Add greens to salted boiling water.
        2. Cook 8–10 minutes until tender.

          2. Add greens and ½ cup broth.
