Ingredients

  • 12 large strawberries hulled
  • 6 oz dark or milk chocolate chips
  • 3 oz white chocolate chips
  • Optional: candy eyes or edible glitter for extra spooky effect

Equipment

  • Piping bag or small plastic bag
  • Microwave-safe bowls
  • Spoon or spatula
  • Parchment paper-lined tray

Method

Prepare Strawberries
  1. Wash and pat strawberries dry. Remove the stems and set aside. Make sure they’re completely dry for the chocolate to stick.
Melt the Chocolate
  1. Melt dark or milk chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 20-second intervals, stirring until smooth. Melt the white chocolate separately in the same way.
Dip the Strawberries
  1. Dip each strawberry into the melted dark or milk chocolate, covering most of the surface. Place them on a parchment-lined tray. Let the chocolate set for a few minutes in the fridge.
Create the “Brains”
  1. Fill a piping bag or a small plastic bag with the white chocolate. Snip a tiny corner and drizzle the white chocolate over the strawberries in a squiggly pattern to mimic brain folds.
Chill & Serve
  1. Refrigerate for 10–15 minutes to allow the chocolate to fully set. Optional: add candy eyes for extra creep factor. Serve chilled.

Notes

Make ahead: Assemble up to a few hours in advance; keep refrigerated until serving.
Alternative chocolate: Use colored candy melts (orange or red) for extra Halloween flair.
Kid-friendly fun: Let kids drizzle their own “brains” on the strawberries for a hands-on activity.
Storage: Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days.
