Ingredients

  • 1 lb raw shrimp peeled and deveined (tails on or off)
  • 12 oz smoked sausage sliced
  • 4 ears corn halved
  • lbs baby red potatoes halved
  • 1 cup carrots chopped (optional)
  • 1 stalk celery chopped
  • 1 small onion chopped
  • 4 cups chicken broth or water
  • 2 tbsp Old Bay seasoning or Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tbsp garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp butter optional, for richness
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lemon wedges and parsley for serving (optional)

Method

  1. Add potatoes, sausage, carrots, celery, onion, garlic, broth, and Old Bay to the crock pot. Stir to combine.
  2. Cover and cook on **LOW for 4 hours** or until potatoes are fork-tender.
  3. Add corn and shrimp during the **last 20–30 minutes** of cooking.
  4. Once shrimp is pink and cooked through, taste and adjust seasoning.
  5. Serve hot with lemon wedges, butter, and a sprinkle of fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

Add 1 tsp crushed red pepper for a spicy kick. You can swap water for broth, but broth adds more flavor. Don’t overcook shrimp — add them just before serving. For easier cleanup, use a slow cooker liner.
