Prepare the Brownies
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8×8-inch baking pan. Melt butter and stir in sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Mix in cocoa, flour, salt, and baking powder until smooth.
Bake
- Pour batter into prepared pan and bake 22–25 minutes. Cool completely.
Make Frosting
- Beat cream cheese and butter until smooth. Gradually add powdered sugar and vanilla until creamy.
Frost & Decorate
- Spread frosting over cooled brownies and top with red and green sprinkles.
Serve or Store
- Cut into squares. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or refrigerate for up to 1 week.
Notes
For extra richness, fold 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips into the brownie batter.
Make ahead: Frost the next day for cleaner slices.
For a peppermint twist, add 1/2 tsp peppermint extract to the frosting.
