Ingredients
  

  • 1 3 oz box flavored Jell-O (red, green, or orange look best)
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • ½ cup cold water
  • ½ cup vodka plain or flavored
  • 20 gummy eyeballs or canned lychees stuffed with blueberries/maraschino cherries
  • Optional: whipped cream for topping

  • 2 oz plastic shot cups
  • Baking sheet (to carry cups easily)

Method
 

  1. Prepare Jell-O Base – In a mixing bowl, dissolve Jell-O powder in 1 cup boiling water. Stir until fully dissolved.
  2. Add Liquor – Stir in ½ cup cold water and ½ cup vodka. Mix well.
  3. Fill Cups – Pour mixture into 2 oz plastic shot cups, filling about ¾ full.
  4. Insert Eyeballs – Once slightly set (after 20–30 minutes in the fridge), place one gummy eyeball or lychee “eyeball” in the center of each cup.
  5. Chill Until Firm – Refrigerate for 2–3 hours, or until fully set.
  6. Serve – Top with whipped cream before serving for an extra creepy look!

Notes

For kid-friendly versions, replace vodka with cold water or lemon-lime soda.
You can use any Jell-O color—green “slime” and red “blood” are extra spooky.
Make ahead: these keep in the fridge for up to 3 days, covered.
For ultra-realistic eyeballs, use lychees stuffed with blueberries—they look freakishly real!
