Ingredients

  • 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough 8 oz
  • 12 cocktail sausages or hot dogs cut in half, if using full size
  • 2 tablespoons mustard or ketchup for “glue”
  • Candy eyes or dots of mustard/ketchup for eyes

Equipment

  • Baking sheet
  • Knife
  • Parchment paper

Method

  1. Preheat Oven – Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Wrap the Sausages – Unroll crescent dough and cut into thin strips. Wrap strips around each sausage, leaving small gaps for the “face.”
  3. Bake – Place on baking sheet and bake for 12–15 minutes, until dough is puffed and golden brown.
  4. Add Eyes – Let cool slightly, then dot mustard/ketchup on for eyes or press on candy eyes.
  5. Serve – Enjoy warm with dipping sauces like ketchup, mustard, or spicy mayo.

Notes

Use jalapeño cheddar sausages for a spooky “kick.”
Add a slice of cheese under the dough for extra gooey mummies.
For vegetarian friends, swap in veggie sausages.
Serve on a platter with “bloody” ketchup for Halloween flair.
